Justin Timberlake scores his second #1 album this year with the second installment of his The 20/20 Experience series. It was already predicted that he would knock Drake out of the top spot last week with the follow-up to his March release.
The new album, appropriately titled 2 of 2 has sold 350,000 sold in its first week,
according to Nielsen SoundScan, while it’s first installment sold
968,000 units in the first week, earning the best sales week of 2013.
Drake dropped to the #2 spot with Nothing Was the Same, selling 148,000 the second week around. Also to debut this week is Nelly with his new album, N.O., entering the chart at #14
and selling only 15,000 copies, marking the lowest debut of his career.
Pretty sure he’s not concerned though, pulling in those Cheerio
endorsement dollars!
