Last week, we got a sneak peek at Miley Cyrus’ furry V magazine cover,
which, between the bright-blue bathing suit and pile of stuffed
animals, was extremely memorable. The rest of the spread was revealed
and,
unsurprisingly, features a number of other pants-free and
noteworthy snaps. “The Emancipation of Miley” was shot by Karl Lagerfeld
and styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, another heavyweight in the
fashion industry, which means Cyrus gets to add another notch to her
fashion belt
. Miley is a natural fit for the “Rebel Issue,” given her metamorphosis
from child performer to the walking, talking water-cooler topic that she
is today. In one shot, Miley channels Twiggy in a pair of thigh-high
Jeremy Scott for Adidas boots. Paired with a Moschino fur coat, Jeremy
Scott lace-front shorts, and a Chanel watch, you have a look that is
definitely not meant for the football field. n another shot, Miley hangs poolside in a look certainly not intended to
get wet. I mean, peep those serious eyelashes, fluorescent-pink
turtleneck by Bottega Veneta, and dental couture Patricia Field bag. I
wouldn’t be surprise if the placement of said purse was an intentional
nod to vagina dentata by a particularly cheeky de Dudzeele.
